Ideally located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island amongst some of the greatest Salmon and Halibut fishing in the world, Swell Time Charters provides access to the pristine waters along the Juan de Fuca Strait from Port Renfrew to the Swiftsure Bank.
Wildlife of all kinds flourish in the nutrient-rich waters and ecosystem surrounding southwestern Vancouver Island. This is the feeding grounds where the big fish come to pack on the pounds year after year. In addition to salmon and halibut, there are lingcod, and an abundance of crab. The richness of sea life attracts many species, and it’s not uncommon for us to encounter orca, grey and humpback whales, porpoise, bald eagles, seals and otters while we are out there.

With over 25 years of local fishing, surfing and sailing experience, fully certified guide Blair Legallais knows where the big fish are. With his knowledge and experience, he has the expertise to interpret and predict the conditions for the Strait of Juan de Fuca ensuring a safe and fun fishing experience for all ages.
